Through the School of Media, Culture and Society and the School of Education we offer a range of student and staff research and learning experiences focusing on arts education, creative practice, cultural content generation and curation, as well as arts and cultural policy critique and knowledge exchange. Our staff and student community work in partnership within communities across Scotland in urban and rural spaces, environments and places. Our programmes of study and research frameworks offer colleagues accessible and inclusive networks of experience and practice both within Scotland and beyond. ASAD membership offers an example of our UWS commitment to working as and with global partners with a vision of articulating local and national arts, education and cultural practice through a prism of inter-disciplinary context and critique.
